T he Kentucky Board of Home Inspectors administers and enforces statutory requirements, examines and certifies all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of home inspection. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 198B.700 - KRS 198B.738. The board does not have the authority to award monetary damages for any acts, omissions or breaches of a licensed home inspector. If you believe you were damaged by any acts, omissions or breaches, you may want to seek legal advice.​ All applications for renewal or initial licensure must be submitted no later than one week prior to the board meeting date. Applications accepted after this date will be considered for the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
